To the residents of Byron Road New Milton Hampshire.   On behalf of all the aircrew, pilots and ground staff of the H&IOWAA may I thank you for your generous donation and all your hard work. Without your generosity and that of others we would be unable to keep flying. I am sure the other residents of New Milton benefited from your display and Christmas festivities and added much needed cheer to those for whom Christmas may not always be a time for celebration for whatever reason. 

From the air your very colorful display would resemble the various runways of a busy airport and being adjacent to Bournemouth international I am surprised that someone didn’t attempt a landing in Byron Road! Well done to all and thank you.

New Forest Show 27.07.2010

Tues 27th to Thurs 29th July.  The Show Ground, New Park, Brockenhurst, Hampshire, SO42 7QH.  Celebrate the New Forest Show's 90th birthday and this famous agricultural show.  Show jumping is a major feature of the show, and there are international classes throughout all three days.  Livestock competitions, plus poultry show, rabbits, caged birds and honey bees.  Trade stands, arena events, countryside crafts, antiques tent, art tent, flower show, Forestry Commission area, blacksmiths and old time farming.

Navy Summer Extravaganza 30.07.2010

Fri 30th July to Sun 1st Aug.  Don't miss what promises to be one of the most popular events on the south coast this summer.    Navy Days at Portsmouth Naval Base will feature serving warships of the Royal Navy, ships of foreign navies, thrilling naval displays, historical re-enactments, and the world class attractions of Portsmouth Historic Dockyard including HMS Victory.

Balloons Over Basingstoke 06.08.2010

Fri 6th to Sun 8th Aug.  All day.  War Memorial Mark, Crossborough Hill, Basingstoke, RG21 4AG.  Colourful balloons of all shapes and sizes fill the skies above Basingstoke's War Memorial Park during this annual festival.  Take part in workshops, watch performances and browse stalls at this fun, free event.  Weather permitting, there will be a mass balloon take off at 6.00 am and 6.00 pm on the Sat and Sun.
