This popular event on the Isle of Wight is back for the second year and entries are still available - so sign up, start fund-raising, get on your bike and have a great day! You can chose either the 15 mile route or the 50 mile route  for a bigger challenge. The event is this Saturday, 25th September, and Wight Link are kindly providing subsidised travel for the entrants (please check our registration page for details). Anyone can enter as long as you have a bike and last year we had teams of work colleagues, fancy dress entrants and families completing the courses as well as the more serious cyclists.

I personally cannot wait, after completing the 15 mile route last year, and I can say it really is a brilliant day - the route is beautiful - long country roads, with a lovely view from the top of Sea View and plenty of blackberry bushes along the way! Both courses will be sign posted and you will be given a route map before you start so there is no chance of getting lost. After completing the route, there will be entertainment and a chance to see the Air Ambulance and meet the crew. Hopefully the sun will be shining and everyone will have a fantastic day.

Don't forget to get all your friends, family and work colleagues to sponsor - you can set up a page on Just Giving!  If you want to sign up please register here - and we will see you on the 25th!
