Looking for a good way to dry your feet after all this rain?  Here’s an excellent way, whilst supporting HIOWAA at the same time! This Friday, 8th October, HIOWAA is linking in with Shopmobility Basingstoke to host a Fire Walk at Basingstoke Rugby Club.

Before you shout ‘I couldn’t do that’ I would like to advise that, if an old codger like me can do it (I did it last year) then anyone can! It doesn’t hurt at all (and you are given excellent guidance on how to achieve this by the organisers in the briefing before the event).   There’s nothing ‘mystical’ about it at all, and once you’ve finished the walk, you will feel that you could take on the world – which you probably could!

Entry fee is only £50 (non refundable) and we ask that you please try and raise a minimum of £150 in sponsorship. You can enter on-line on this website here. Unfortunately, for safety reasons, we cannot take entries on the night.  The last date for registration and payment of the fee is Friday 8th Oct, 10.00am.

So, kick off those wellies, and think about get those toes nice and warm, by signing up for the Fire Walk.
If you have any questions about the event, then please contact me on 07966 017236
