Readers of our Blog page will have recently read of our intrepid supporter, 68 year old, Les Spicer and his Round Britain Motorcycle Ride on behalf of the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance on his vintage 1968 Triumph motor cycle.
Alas I have to report a setback has occurred. Les has unfortunately taken a tumble, just days before he was due to set off and broken his shoulder. As readers will understand, the trip is temporarily postponed until spring 2011, when Les is planning to undertake the journey for us.
All of the team at Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance wish Les our very best wishes for a speedy recovery.
