Monday 27th August. 10.30am – 5pm. Jubilee Recreation Ground, Horndean Road. A mix of around 70 stalls, refreshment outlets, tombola, arts & crafts, face painting, traditional sweets, historic gardening tools display, entertainments and pony rides will be at this show. The arena will see the return of flying falcons from First Class Falconry together with, The Homested Dog Agility Team and The Devil’s Jump Clog Dance Group. As usual, The Fun Dog Show will be a great attraction – just bring your dogs on the day. The EHS Exhibition Marquee opening at 1pm after the judging has been completed. To conclude the afternoon there will be a presentation of the prizes followed by an auction of donated produce. The entry fee is £2.50 with accompanied children under 12 free. There is limited parking on the Show Ground which is an additional £2 per car. This is family entertainment at its best.

We run Bark2school - A fully insured dog training and behaviourist business with over 20 years experience in Positive, reward based training methods and would like to enquire about booking a stall at the above event

Can you please advise on costs to book a stall and when the cut off to get a booking to you is?

Bag a Bra Day 2013 23.05.2013

Since BAB Day started in 2010, over 110,000 bras have been donated to the appeal, which is an incredible amount, and for which we are extremely grateful and which means that a fantastic £5000 has been generated from bras that may have been: too big; too small; wrong type of Christmas present!

We still do need your ‘support’ please. If you can get friends/relatives/workplace to join you in collecting bras for BAB Day on 23rd May, that really would be greatly appreciated. You can register on-line here

You can donate your bras into our HIOWAA recycling banks, which can be found across the region. Please place your bras in a bag clearly marked 'BRAS' and if you are unsure where your nearest bank is, then please look on our recycling page, where you will be able to find it, and, if you advise us on how many bras you have collected, we can send you a ‘Bag A Bra’ certificate!

The Bupa 10,000 2013 27.05.2013

The BUPA London 10,000 will take place at 10.00am on Monday May 27th 2013 and we have 11 spaces to fill! Entry fee is just £25 and we ask that you please raise a minimum of £300.

We will keep you supplied with tips for getting fit for the race, plus relevant updates, along with a splendid HIOWAA running vest.

The Race starts (and finishes) in The Mall and follows a clockwise route around the City of Westminster and the City of London. Runners pass many of London’s famous sights including, Admiralty Arch, Nelson’s Column, St Paul’s Cathedral, Mansion House, Bank of England, Leadenhall Market, The Monument, Millennium Bridge, Tate Gallery, Cleopatra’s Needle, London Eye, Big Ben, Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey. It is also hoped that Buckingham Palace will act as the backdrop for both the start and finish. (All Royal Parks information is subject to approval).

Whitehill and Bordon Soapbox Derby 2013 27.05.2013

Monday 27th May 2013. Jubilee Park, Mill Chase Road, Bordon, GU35. 11am – 5pm. The Whitehill Bordon Town Partnership are holding their 3rd Soapbox Derby on 27th May, 2013 Vehicles are powered by gravity, anyone can build a cart, drivers must be 16 or over (Under 18’s need parental consent).
