Each year, Douglas Stafford’s employees choose a local charity they wish to support for the year. In 2012 they nominated Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance.
“We are very happy to support Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance,” says Douglas Stafford’s CEO Nigel Cook, “a very worthwhile charity which provides an efficient and prompt response to road traffic collisions, sporting accidents and many other incidents for people in Hampshire and on the island.
Our team raises money throughout the year thanks to sponsorship and participation to team events such as the annual dragon boat race here at Lakeside, or by organising raffles. We also have monthly ‘dress down’ days, when everyone wishing to leave their business attire behind for the day will contribute. Everyone at Douglas Stafford wishes to help HIOWAA make this anniversary year a great fundraising success,” concludes Nigel.

Braishfield Village Hall, Braishfield Road, Romsey, SO51 0PN. 11am – 3pm Entrance fee: 50p per person (£1 for family of up to 2 adults and 4 children) Many stalls, raffle, tombola – or just join us for a cuppa and a chat. Tuesday 6th March. Medina Theatre, Isle of Wight. 7pm. IOW College Hairdressing school put on a show of students accomplishments at Medina Collage, Newport on the 6th March. Last year over 70 students take part in this fantastic show. During the event a raffle will be run to add to their contribution to the Air Ambulance. It should be a fantastic evening as in past year.
Wednesday 7th March. Public Service Plaza, Civic Centre Rd, Havant 10.30am – 12noon. Raffle/Cake Stall/Various Craft Stalls plus Bring & Buy. All welcome – Pay on Door.
