Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance is fortunate to receive vital funds through our recycling partner Bag It Up.   Textiles of all kinds can be donated in our yellow banks all over the county.  One of the textile donations which brings in the most for us are bras, which have three times the value of other textiles.

By searching out your unwanted bras and donating them to the appeal, you would be supporting not only HIOWAA, but also women in West Africa, where most of the donated bras are sent.  This allows local West African women the opportunity to buy and wear bras which can help them in many ways, including increasing their self esteem.

How can you get involved?  Individuals and companies all over Hampshire and the Isle of Wight are collecting bras for Bag a Bra Day on Thursday 27th May.

If you, your friends or your company would like to take part, please contact our Head Office on   02380 333377, or email enquiries@hiow-airambulance.org.uk to register

Thanks for your support!

June.
