Walking On Water

With the help of Wightlink, we have put together this fun sponsored event, to help us raise funds to keep this vital service operational
The actual event takes place on the St Clare—Wightlink car ferry, Portsmouth to Fishbourne, between 9am and 6pm. Your team will have one return journey, starting either way, to clock up as many miles as possible, walking on a treadmill— WALKING NOT RUNNING. So you should be on the ferry for two and a half hours.
There will also be an adjudicator from one of the IOW fitness centres, to make sure that everything runs correctly and that you and your team are looked after.
It can’t be any easier than gathering some of your friends/family together and say we are going to WALK ON WATER. Even my colleges have put a team together!! There is also goodie bags for all which will include an event t-shirt and much more.
Not only that, we have a prize box with many things inside to sure for the team who WALKS the most during their time.

If you are travelling on Wightlink that day anyway, you can still be involved as we will have information, merchandise and collection buckets.
