ReCycle the Island is happening again for the second year, on Saturday 25th September, so make sure you put it in your diary. We hope this will be even bigger and better than last year, when we were amazed that such a new event had over 50 entrants, who raised over £3,000. A fantastic effort.
This year there is a £10 registration fee for adults and £5 for children, and we hope that entrants will also obtain sponsorship so that we can raise even more to help keep the Air Ambulance flying and saving lives. You can register on our Events page, and if you would like to pay your registration fee on line, please go to our Donate section, and pay through PayPal. All your entry details will then be sent to you.
The Air Ambulance will again be fully operational for the day from Tesco Ryde and will fulfil its normal duties conducting life-saving missions. Throughout the course of the day when the crew are on standby there will be the opportunity to look at the helicopter and meet and chat with the paramedics and pilot.
