Tues 27th to Thurs 29th July. The Show Ground, New Park, Brockenhurst, Hampshire, SO42 7QH. Celebrate the New Forest Show's 90th birthday and this famous agricultural show. Show jumping is a major feature of the show, and there are international classes throughout all three days. Livestock competitions, plus poultry show, rabbits, caged birds and honey bees. Navy Days at Portsmouth Naval Base will feature serving warships of the Royal Navy, ships of foreign navies, thrilling naval displays, historical re-enactments, and the world class attractions of Portsmouth Historic Dockyard including HMS Victory. Explore the ships and meet the crews of the modern Royal Navy including the new Type 45 Destroyers, HMS Daring and HMS Dauntless, the largest and most powerful air defence destroyers ever operated by the Royal Navy and the first time both ships will be open to the public together. Fri 6th to Sun 8th Aug. All day. War Memorial Mark, Crossborough Hill, Basingstoke, RG21 4AG. Colourful balloons of all shapes and sizes fill the skies above Basingstoke's War Memorial Park during this annual festival. Take part in workshops, watch performances and browse stalls at this fun, free event. Weather permitting, there will be a mass balloon take off at 6.00 am and 6.00 pm on the Sat and Sun.

In conjunction with Bag-It-Up, the company behind the recyling scheme supporting the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance, we are once again running the best event for all you cycling enthusiasts. Starting at Tesco in Ryde, you can choose a 15 mile course or a 50 mile course which circles the whole Isle of Wight.
In addition to what will be a fun filled day, you will also have the chance to see the Air Ambulance, meet it's fantastic crew & volunteers and find out more about this life-saving service.
