Sunday 11th April. Milford on Sea, at various sites around the town. 10.00am to 3.00pm. The village will be alive with dining offers and themed events, cookery experiences and demonstrations, educational events and talks, children's fun cooking competitions and the chance to buy local produce at the food market.

Sun 11th April. Beachlands, Hayling Island. Family Day for all ages. Come along and meet the emergency services who work in your area. The Coastguard, Police, Fire Service, Ambulance and personnel from the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance will be present. The Police Band will be playing from 2.00 until 4.00.

Sat 17th and Sun 18th April. Thruxton Race Circuit, Andover. Start time 10.00 Approx. Silent auction and sale of motor sport memorabilia. Also the British Superbike race meeting, so an early arrival will be required to access the site.

Sunday 18th April, 10.00 am to 4.00pm. The Coach Station, Units 4&5 Bottings Industrial Estate, Curdridge, Southampton, SO30 2DY. A Family Open Day with lots of visiting preserved and operational buses, plus classic emergency vehicles will be on display. Lots of enthusiast stalls, plus free site seeing tours. Light refreshments available, with a free bus service between Botley and Eastleigh bus stations.

24th and 25th April. 10.00am to 5.00pm. Northwood Grounds, Cowes, Isle of Wight. A fun family weekend featuring classic entertainment such as a carnival procession, Morris Dancers, children's entertainment, classic car displays, live music, Punch and Judy, and many exciting crafts for sale. Free entry.

24th and 25th April. Robin Hill Country Park, New Port, Isle of Wight. The Isle of Wight's only spring gardening event, will be joining forces with the ever popular It's A Knock Out Competition. There will be flower stalls, garden furniture, garden ornaments and everything you need for a stunning 2010 garden. The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance fundraising team will be there to keep you updated with all news from the Air Ambulance.

Sun 25th April. Starts from 9.00am. This is a classic car tour for pre 1988 cars, organised by the Salisbury CSMA, and Sarum Marshalling Team Club. The 60 mile route will start from the Intech Science Park to the east of Winchester, by the A31, and will go via Hambledon, Finchdean, Bosham Harbour and Goodwood to finish at the Military Aviation Museum at Tangmere. Entry fee £30 per car plus extra entry to the museum. Contact chris.derbyshire2@virgin.net for an entry form and information.

Sun 9th May. Open to the public from 11.00am. War Memorial Park, Hackwood Road, Basingstoke. The Transport Festival brings together over 800 vehicles for a colourful and exciting display. Vehicles on show include classic and vintage cars, trucks, ambulances, fire engines and many more. This free festival is a perfect day out for families and motor enthusiasts alike. Car park is free, admission £2.00
