The time is drawing near for our new fundraising event, Sunday 23rd May “Walking on Water”. We hope this will become an annual event. Thanks to the generosity of Wightlink we have the top deck on their newest ferry, the St Claire, to run this exciting event. The aim is to have fun whilst raising money for the charity, by taking it in turn walking on a treadmill for a return journey from the Isle of Wight to the mainland. See that’s not too hard! Many other things seem to be lining up to add a bit more entertainment on the day: from Vectis Corp of Drums playing a few tunes, one of our volunteers will be amazing people with a bit of illusion and magic, and we have BJ who will be making some balloon art for a small donation (this will also be coming to the charity). I am sure more exciting entertainment will also turn up, so you will not want to get off the ferry!! Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, all participants will be receiving a goody bag, which will include an WOW t-shirt as well many more things. So come on and register your interest today.
