Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance
The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance began operations on 1st July 2007. The Helicopter is based at Thruxton Airfield near Andover and our Head Office is at St Mary's Stadium in Southampton. Every day the Air Ambulance crew provide an efficient, rapid response to road traffic collisions, sporting accidents, collapses, and many other incidents throughout Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. The Helicopter is called out on average 3 - 5 times per day, and many of these missions are life saving.

It is our aim to provide a rapid and efficient Air Ambulance service to the people of Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, taking patients to the most appropriate hospital for their needs.
